ITE staff has various experience ranging from software development, seismic evaluation and geotechnical engineering.

Dr.Vince O’ Shaughnessy

(Ph.D.-Civil Engineering) is a principal and partner at ITE. He obtained his Ph.D. in Geoenvironmental Engineering from the University of Ottawa. He also holds a degree in geology from the same institute. He has over 20 years of engineering and academic experience. He was the principal participant in the investigation into the reuse of scrap tires for civil engineering applications where the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Energy funded the project. He has several years of experience in obtaining and interpretation of both field and laboratory properties of soils (both mechanical and chemical characteristics), slope stability, reinforced earth structures, transport modeling, and site characterization with emphasis on the hydro-geological properties and contaminant fate.
